Have your pointe-shoe fitter check the position of the insert inside the shoe alongside your usual padding. It should sit smoothly, without folding or moving during use.

The added thickness changes the space available inside the shoe. Your toes should remain straight and comfortable, with no new pressure, crowding or pinching.

Check the complete fit before dancing in a new padding combination. Remove the inserts if they cause discomfort or numbness, and have the fit reassessed.

Care information

Hand wash gently with mild soap, rinse and allow to air dry completely before use or storage. Follow any care instructions supplied with your pack.

Remove the pads from your shoes after class so both can air separately. Keep them clean and dry between sessions, and replace them if the gel tears or becomes damaged.

Each pad has a semicircular shape with a rounded outer edge and a straight edge. Designed to sit inside the shoe, the gel provides a cushioning layer as part of your chosen pointe-shoe setup.

The separate insert format makes TH028 an option to consider alongside your usual toe protection. The right combination depends on your foot shape, the shoe's internal space and where you need cushioning.
