Size & Fit Advice

Fit: For a perfect fit we advice to come to store and be fitted professionally.
Please Read HOW TO FIT for size advice.

How to Fit

While we strive to ensure you get the correct size, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit for everyone. Here's why:

1. Unique Foot Shapes
The shape of a dancer's foot is as unique as a fingerprint. Two dancers with same foot length may still require different sizes, even in the same pumps. This is because the other dimensions of the foot vary significantly:

2. Width and Arch: One dancer might have a wide foot or a higher arch, while another might have flat feet or a high instep.

3. Pump Structure: Unlike regular shoes, pumps or ghillies wrap around the foot without a solid fixed sole, making these factors crucial for a proper fit.

4. Personal Fit Preferences
Additionally, dancers have different fit preferences based on their dancing habits:
Comfort Fit: Some dancers - especially beginners, prefer a comfortable fit from the first wear (we recommend half to full size up from your usuall shoe size)
Tight Fit: Others, who dance intensively several times a week, might choose pumps that are extremely tight initially, knowing they will stretch with use. (we recommend 1 size down from your regural shoe size)

Our Recommendations
If you have uniquely shaped feet, we recommend ordering a few pairs around the length you measured and returning any that do not fit. This approach saves time and reduces the cost of returning single pairs.

Additionally, we suggest showing your dance teacher your preferred fit before returning the unwanted pairs, so they can approve your choice.

Cleaning the Suede: Use a suede brush to remove dirt and restore the nap of the suede. Be gentle to avoid damaging the material.
Dry After Use: Allow the high-impact medical "Poron" insole to dry completely after each use.
