For Intermezzo leotards, prioritise girth if your measurements point to different sizes. A dancer may fit one size through the chest and waist but need the next size for comfortable torso length. If you are between sizes, the larger size is usually the better starting point.
How to Measure for Intermezzo Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting clothing using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Girth
Key MeasurementUsing a flexible tape measure, start at the centre of one shoulder. Bring the tape down the front of the torso, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, creating one complete loop.

The elasticated pull-on waistband makes it easy to layer over your leotard, while the soft drape adds movement with every change of direction.

The crossed front creates a wrap-style line within a simple pull-on design. Its curved panels overlap at the front, then fall away into longer sides and a sweeping back. This gives the hem a softly graduated shape that changes as you turn.
The chiffon has a fluid drape, with a semi-sheer finish visible towards the hem. Where the front panels overlap, the fabric appears denser, adding definition to the crossed shape. The longer back carries that flowing line behind the dancer.
