Size & Fit Advice

Professional fitting is best. Pointe fit is precision work, book a fitting if you can.
Length: Go by fit, not the number. Toes should feel snug and supported without crunching.
Width/box: Reveal’s wide platform with a slightly tapered box suits toes that sit relatively even or mildly tapered. If your big toe dominates, consider extra padding or a spacer.
Heel: The slightly narrow heel hugs the back of the foot to reduce slippage in turns. If you have a shallow heel, add a small heel grip or elastic ribbon placement to secure.
Vamp/arch: Vamp 2 is a balanced height for most arches. The pre-arched construction flatters the instep and shortens break-in.
Shank feel: The FM (Flexible Medium Strong) shank rolls through smoothly but stays stable on the platform, ideal if you like support without a hard block.

Try-on test: Relevé fully, plié, and bourrée. There should be no sinking in the box, no pinching at the throat, and the heel should stay put.

Care information

Break-in, not break-down: Warm the shoe with gentle roll-throughs and demi-plies; avoid crushing the box or sharply bending the shank.
Dry time matters: After class, air-dry 24–48 hours outside your bag; rotate pairs to extend life.
Keep the shape: Use mesh/cedar shapers.
Satin TLC: Spot-clean with a barely damp cloth or makeup sponge and mild soap; don’t soak.
Extra support: If approved by your teacher, reinforce box/wings with thin layers of pointe shoe hardener and allow to fully cure.
