How Should the So Danca TA38 Girls' Tap Shoes Fit?

1. Snug but Comfortable: The tap shoes should fit snugly without being too tight. They should hug the feet securely, providing support without causing discomfort or pinching.

2. Secure Velcro Closure: Ensure the velcro closure fastens securely, providing a stable fit around the foot. The velcro strap should allow for easy adjustments to achieve the perfect fit.

3. Toe Room: There should be a little room at the toe box to wiggle the toes, but not so much that the foot slides forward. Proper toe room ensures comfort during long practice sessions and performances.
Heel Fit:

4. The heel should fit snugly against the foot without slipping. A well-fitted heel provides stability and helps maintain balance during complex tap routines.

Note: When trying on and testing out our tap shoes we highly recommend trying them on carpet to prevent the taps being scratched in case the shoes need to be returned. Shoes returned with scratched taps will not be accepted.

2. Avoid wearing your tap shoes outside.
3. Regularly check the soles and heels for wear and tear.
If you notice any issues with the heel or taps, consult a professional to have them repaired or replaced.
4. Ensure the velcro straps are free from lint and debris. Use a small brush or a piece of tape to clean the velcro if it becomes clogged.
